FINAL RESULTS
Dear photographer, participant of 2nd International Salon of Photography DRONE & ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY 2020!
We are happy to announce that the results of judging are already available.
Drone & Astrophotography is a young exhibition, but we intend to continue the tradition and grow each year. This year the quality and number of participating photographers was already bigger than in 2019. We hope you will continue participating next years too, so make sure you follow the news and our web page.
Due to the current restrictions in our country no public exhibitions and ceremonies can be held, so the gala opening in december is unfortunately cancelled. As soon as the circumstances will allow us to make an exhibition, the winning photographs will be exhibited in the fantastic ambient of Center of space technologies Noordung.
All the awards will be sent to the authors of winning images in december. Online catalog will also be available on our web page in mid-december.
We want to thank everybody for supporting our exhibition and contributing to the wonderful picture of our planet, the universe and everything!

- THEMES AND NUMBER OF WORKS
A1 AERIAL COLOR
Any photo, taken from an aircraft, drone or other flying objects, including photos taken from high structures towards ground, processed in color. Monochromatic photos also included in this theme.
A2 AERIAL BLACK&WHITE
Any photo, taken from an aircraft, drone or other flying objects, including photos taken from high structures towards ground, processed in black&white. No monochromatic photos allowed.
B ASTRO PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography of astronomical objects, celestial events, and areas of the night sky. Color or black&white.
C OPEN – FREE THEME
This theme is open for all photographers. Show us your photographic imagination and skills. Color or black&white.
To participate in 2nd international salon of photography and astrophotography DRONE 2020 the authors apply with black&white and color DIGITAL photographs. Maximum number of works is four (4) photographs per theme, dimension between 2500 and 2900 pixels per longer side, max. 5 MB file, 300 dpi, JPG.
File names should be written only in English alphabet. The file name should be the name of the photo.

*The exhibition will be organized as a public event, of course only if possible. We can not predict possible new restrictions to public gatherings due to the corona virus epidemic. Winning photographs will be printed and exhibited in every case.

- OPENING CEREMONY AND EXHIBITION
Traditionally, the opening ceremony and exhibition will be held in the astonishing architectural ambient of CENTER NOORDUNG – The Herman Potočnik Noordung center of space technologies in Vitanje, Slovenia.

- PARTICIPATION AND FEE
Photographers from all over the world have the right to participate.
Participation fee is required for all participants and is:
- 20 EUR for participation in 1 or 2 themes
- 30 EUR for participation in 3 or 4 themes
The fee can be paid via PayPal (preferred method) or bank transfer to Digitalni foto klub, Ljubljanska cesta 14, 3000 Celje, Slovenija – IBAN SI56 0510 0801 5944 658, BIC code: ABANSI2X (name and surname of participant to be included!).
The works of the authors who did not pay the fee until the closing date will not be taken into consideration and will not be judged. Online results of the exhibition with catalogue of winning photos will be available digitally on the website www.digitalna-kamera.si.
The exhibition is open to anyone; however, an entry may be rejected when the organizer or its agent, in its reasonable discretion, believes the entry does not conform to the exhibition rules and conditions.
Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own (aliases are not permitted). Organizer is not obliged to check origin, but may do so.
By entering the contest the entrant permits the sponsors and organisers to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition Drone&Astrophotography.
No title or identification of the maker shall be visible anywhere on the face of an image, also borders are not allowed. Each image must have a unique title.
Winners will receive their awards at the ceremony in december. In case the winners can not attend the ceremony, they have to inform the organizer – organizer will send awards by postal mail (packaging and postage by organizer). Organizer is not responsible for loss or damage of postal shipment. Any expenses regarding tax, custom’s fee or similar (depending on the country of residence) are not subject of organizer and shall be resolved and payed by the winner!
In a theme, one author can only receive one award. Alltogether one author can receive maximum 4 awards (one in each theme). Awards can not be exchanged for other awards or monetary value.
There is no possibility to appeal to the results or jury. The jury results are final.

By entering this exhibition, you are explicitly consenting to the personal details you have supplied, including postal and email addresses, being held, processed and used by the exhibition organizers for purposes associated with this exhibition. You also explicitly consent to such information being sent to organizations that have accorded official recognition, patronage, sponsorship or accreditation to this exhibition. You acknowledge and accept that entering this exhibition means that the status and results of your entry will be made public.
Submitting the entry to the contest expresses entrant’s agreement to all the contest’s rules and propositions listed above.
