THEMES AND NUMBER OF PHOTOS
A1 AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY – COLOUR
Photography, obtained from any kind of aerial craft (airplane, balloon, …) or drone. Including photos taken from tall engineering structures such as skyscrapers, viaducts etc. Colour or monochrome.
A2 AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHY – BLACK AND WHITE
Photography, obtained from any kind of aerial craft (airplane, balloon, …) or drone. Including photos taken from tall engineering structures such as skyscrapers, viaducts etc. Black and white only.
B ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY
Night photography of astronomic objects, space events, areas of night sky, deep sky photos etc. Colour or black and white.
C OPEN / FREE THEME
Open for any kind of photography, free for any theme. Use your imagination and skills, stand out from the crowd. Colour or black and white.
To participate at 4th International Exhibition Drone&Astrophotography 2023 it is necessary to submit photos in digital format. Make sure the photos comply to the themes. Max. number of photos per theme is 4, so you can submit max. 16 photos all together.
Dimension of longest side of photo should be between 2500 and 3500 pix, file size max. 5 MB, JPG format.
File names should contain English alphabet (no special characters) and should be the title of the photo. Every photo must have a unique title.

Our aim is to uncover photographers from diverse backgrounds and experience levels, and connect them with global audiences through international exposure.

BEST SLOVENIAN AUTHOR (best overall result in all 4 themes – all 16 photos; proof of residence needed in case of doubt): exclusive sponsor award (to be revealed later).

EXHIBITION AND OPENING CEREMONY
Best photographs of 4th International Exhibition Drone&Astrophotography 2023 will be printed and exhibited in the wonderful futuristic ambient of Center Noordung Vitanje. All the participants will be notified about the exact date of opening in time.

PARTICIPATION AND FEE
Photographers from all over the world are welcome to participate, amateur or professional.
Participation fee is mandatory for everybody and depends on the number of sections you participate in. The fee should be payed until the closure date, otherwise the participant will be disqualified from the exhibition.
Participation fee:
- 15 EUR to participate in 1 theme
- 20 EUR to participate in 2 themes
- 30 EUR to participate in 3 or 4 themes

If you don’t use paypal, ask for a bank account transaction details (use digitalnifotoklub@gmail.com).
Online results of the exhibition with catalogue of winning photos will be available digitally on the website HERE.
Everyone can participate at the exhibition. The submission can be disqualified or denied when the organizer believes it does not comply to the rules of exhibition. Entries must originate as photographs (image-captures of objects via light sensitivity) made by the entrant on photographic emulsion or acquired digitally. By virtue of submitting an entry, the entrant certifies the work as his own (aliases are not permitted). Organizer is not obliged to check origin. Any third party origin requests will be forwarded to the photographer; the organizer is not responsible for possible copyright infringement.
Drone photographers are required to follow international and national drone regulations. The organizer will not check compliance with those rules. The organizer is obliged to refer any reports or warnings regarding violations to the author, who is fully responsible for resolving the dispute and bearing any consequences. The jury evaluates the artistic and photographic-technical side of aerial photos, it is not obliged to deal with determining the legality of the photos taken. The organizer doesn’t assume any responsibility for the photos which will be published in the media and online in connection with Drone&Astrophotography project.
By entering the exhibition the entrant permits the sponsors and organisers to reproduce all or part of the entered material free of charge for publication and/or display in media related to the exhibition Drone&Astrophotography. By submitting photos to the exhibition the author automatically complies to the international GDPR rules.
No title or identification of the maker shall be visible anywhere on the face of an image, also borders are not allowed. Each image must have a unique title.
One author can only win one award in one theme. Awards can not be exchanged for other awards or monetary value.
The jury is presented all photos anonymous. There is no possibility to appeal to the results or jury. The jury results are final.
Photos that have won any award on previous editions of Drone&Astrophotography will be disqualified from this year’s participation. One photo can only be submitted in one theme – you can not submit the same photo in two or more themes.
Winners will receive their awards at the opening of the exhibition. In case the winners can not attend the ceremony, they should inform the organizer – organizer will send awards by postal mail (packaging and postage by organizer). Organizer is not responsible for loss or damage of postal shipment. Any expenses regarding tax, custom’s fee or similar (depending on the country of residence) are not subject of organizer and shall be resolved and payed by the winner!

PUBLICATION AND CATALOGUE
The awarded photos will be printed and exhibited in Center Noordung. Selection of awarded works will be published in printed and digital version of Digital Camera Slovenia. The best international author will get a 3-page exclusive presentation. Awarded photos will be published and shared online via the international channels to get the winners as much exposure as possible.
A digital catalogue of accepted photos will be published permanently at the web page of Digitalna kamera, available for anyone to enjoy and share.

By entering this exhibition, you are explicitly consenting to the personal details you have supplied, including postal and email addresses, being held, processed and used by the exhibition organizers for purposes associated with this exhibition.
